Healthcare centres present different kind of auditors, with different ages, roles, and knowledge and interests in energy saving. Healthcare users will be approached with tailored interventions, customized on the type of building and of audience. Almost 1500 users in 2 different healthcare centres will be approached by the project.

The health care centre of Villafranca de los Barros, located in Spain,was built in 2002. The total constructed area is 2180 m2. It has two floors. The main energy source of the building is electricity. It has heating and cooling systems based on electric heat pumps (air-water) with fancoils with thermostats in each room. Domestic Hot Water is provided by electric boilers. Lighting is 80% fluorescent technology.

Heating and cooling systems are based on electric heat pumps (air-water) and several fancoils covering sectors with general thermostats. Domestic Hot Water is provided by electric boilers. Lighting is 85% fluorescent technology.
