On February 28th, a delegation of eTEACHER project had the chance to visit the UK pilots in the city of Nottingham.
They arrived in central Nottingham in the morning to see the Council House, a heritage building constructed in 1927. It serves more than just an office building – it also holds a coroner’s court and hosts many important meetings, events and balls while also offering the service of birth and death registration to citizens.
That same afternoon, the partners then travelled north of the city centre to see Djanogly City Academy. This modern secondary school was built in 2005 and currently accommodates around 750 students, aged 11-18 years.
Both visits were organised in two ways. The first visit took place as a sit-down meeting with the Facilities Managers. The partners were given a chance to ask information related to the building, its uses and its current monitoring data. A tour was provided during the second visit to see different parts of the buildings. The partners took several pictures to better understand the energy facilities and their current status in the two buildings.
